I had already realized that the rest of the games make such an assumption, maybe i didnt phrase it well but i mean that even though the rest of the story makes the first visual novel non-canon, could it be that it can be viewed as a different stand alone series instead of a what-if scenario? Could it be that the author decided to make Yuuji's background like that after finishing the game and deciding to give a doujin element to it, making it something else entirely? Also, you said that grisaia isnt serious a lot of the times, but i thought that at least in the beginning it this is the case in order to establish the format of half the vn being light hearted slice of life and comedy to make you connect with the characters, while the second part is serious dramatic shit going down. Would you recommend me to still read the novel? I want a serious emotional journey like i was told the fruit of grisaia would be, but i m not up for a random fuckfest where every moral value is thrown out of the window. Sorry for the long answer but being in the beginning of the game and seeing how long it is, i am sceptical of dedicating my time to it and being further emotionally invested after learning of these facts. This would happen on a nukige or on a doujin, but when the author takes the ideas of random sexual fantasies between the characters and decides to make it canon, i m not sure you can talk about the series anymore as being of quality. At least, from what i heard, it seems to be a serious vn and thats why i picked it up, but the contradiction of later on being revealed how the yuuji was on a sexual relationship with his sister and even the person who was essentially his mother makes it seem lower than trash tier.

* NO SPOILERS** NO SPOILERS** NO SPOILERS** NO SPOILERS** NO SPOILERS** NO SPOILERS** NO SPOILERS** NO SPOILERS** NO SPOILERS** NO SPOILERS** NO SPOILERS** NO SPOILERS** NO SPOILERS** NO SPOILERS** NO SPOILERS** NO SPOILERS** NO SPOILERS** NO SPOILERS** NO SPOILERS** NO SPOILERS** NO SPOILERS** NO SPOILERS* I want to know does the visual novels follow a logic order?Īlso no spoilers but how does the anime follow it? Does it go on a specific route? Is there a true ending based on the VN? Also i saw that it has a second season called Eden of Grisaia then it skips the "Labyrinth Of Grisaia" part logically depending on the VN I have been playing the first one "Fruit of Grisaia" then there is "Labyrinth Of Grisaia" and finally "Eden of Grisaia"
#The labyrinth of grisaia vndb Patch#
unless you like paying for incomplete products.Įvery franchise that's been touched by Sekai Project has been horribly butchered with bad translations, and/or unneeded censorship (or outright missing content) -not only the obvious 18+ scenes- with no available patches, not to mention they're extremely aggressive towards fanmade ones.įrontwing seems to have regained the rights to the Grisaia IP, but I'm not sure that'd actually be a good thing in the long run.įirstly, it's censored (18+ scenes and side stories have been cut) with no patch available -there used to be one, but Sekai nuked it and it's not been rehosted anywhere else- so you'd need to buy the unrated version to get the full story, while the sequels (Labyrinth and Eden) have no patches at all, and likely nobody will ever bother.I have been doing the visual novel currently on Amane's Route still not finished but after consideration on i found that there are many grisaia To be honest, even for such a low price, I wouldn't get it (or any of the main Grisaia games) from Steam.
